The 2026 Truman Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend took place September 11-12, 2026. The teams being inducted included the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2008 NCAA Division II National Championship teams. The 2001 NCAA National Championship team was previously inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.
The dynasty began in 2001 when the Bulldogs won the first NCAA team championship in Truman history. They won six consecutive national championships from 2001-06, becoming the first women’s swimming program in NCAA Division II history to win six straight national titles. After a runner-up finish in 2007, the Bulldogs reclaimed the national championship in 2008 to secure their seventh title in eight years.
Members of all seven teams were invited back to campus for a variety of celebratory activities, including an alumni swim meet, happy hour, campus tour and pre-game tailgate. The celebration concluded on September 12, when the championship teams were recognized during halftime of the Hall of Fame football game against Northeastern State University.
